Round table “Trends of the pandemic and sources of economic growth for the production of household chemistry, perfumes, cosmetics and disinfectants” was held on September 16 at Crocus Expo IEC within the framework of the 3rd international exhibition ChemiCos-2020. The round table was organised by Mayer Corporate Group and the Scientific and Technical Center “CHIMVEST” of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation with the support of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The participants of the round table discussed the issues of state support and anti-crisis measures, the export strategy during the pandemic, readiness for new epidemiological challenges, the main requirements to disinfectants submitted for state registration, the influence of COVID-19 pandemic on the Russian market of household chemistry, perfumes and cosmetics.

Director of the Department of Chemical Technological Complex and Bioengineering Technologies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Aleksandr Orlov addressed the participants and guests with a welcome speech.

General Director of Procter & Gamble LLC Andrei Bashkirov, Head of the Russian Register of Potentially Hazardous Chemical and Biological Substances of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing Halidya Hamidulina, such companies as Henkel, L’Oréal, Svoboda and many others took part in the work of the round table.
